QOTD- pe.com World News Lesson on the two types of Resumes: Chronological and Functional. Activity: students will find their own example of a Functional Resume and share with a partner. Tuesday- QOTD- What benefits are there to turning in a resume AND an application? Lesson on Steps to take when writing a resume. Activity: Find a template you want to use in Pages to write your resume in. Students will write their own “Branding Statement” Wednesday- No QOTD Peer Share your branding statement with 4 students. Finalize your branding statement Create “Key Skills” section of your resume Homework: Bring all contact information of organizations you will use on your resume as work related experience Thursday- QOTD Business News Use the information you brought to create the body of your resume Friday- No QOTD Complete the “Accomplishments” and “Technology” sections of your resume. Your final resume is due by the end of class next Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Homework: If you do not already have a job to write a cover letter for your homework is to find one and a job description for it.
